By creating an account or using Conversagas, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
Conversagas is a language learning platform that teaches Swedish, Spanish, French, Italian, German, and other languages through interactive stories, vocabulary exercises, grammar lessons, quizzes, and practice sessions. We provide both free and premium content. The availability of specific languages and features may change over time as we develop the platform.
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account on Conversagas. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18. We collect date of birth during registration and do not permit accounts for users under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account and delete their data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
To use Conversagas, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that provide false information.

All content on Conversagas — including stories, vocabulary lists, grammar lessons, quizzes, audio, design, and code — is owned by Conversagas or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
Some content on the platform is generated or assisted by artificial intelligence, including grammar library content and personalised email copy. This content is owned by Conversagas and subject to the same protections as all other platform content.
Your learning progress and account data remain yours, subject to our Privacy Policy.
Conversagas uses text-to-speech technology to generate audio narration for stories and content. This audio is provided for personal learning use only. You may not download, copy, redistribute, or use this audio outside of the Conversagas platform without written permission.
Conversagas offers a free tier with limited access and two paid subscription plans — Premium (single language) and Polyglot (all languages). Pricing and features for each plan are displayed clearly before purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly or annual basis unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then.
We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect on their next billing cycle.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
Conversagas is a digital content service. When you purchase a paid subscription, you expressly consent to us providing you with access to premium content immediately following your purchase, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (UK) and Directive 2011/83/EU (EU) once access to the service begins.
Payments are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods or unused content. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Following cancellation, you will continue to have access to the service through the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us via our Contact page within 14 days of the charge. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to offer refunds, credits, or other consideration in individual cases. The provision of such in one instance does not entitle you to the same in future.
Conversagas may offer a referral programme that allows users to share a referral code with others. By participating, you agree to share your referral code only with people you know personally and not to use it for unsolicited promotion or spam. Abuse of the referral system — including creating fake accounts or gaming the programme — may result in forfeiture of any rewards and suspension of your account.
Conversagas may partner with content creators to promote the platform. Participants in any such programme are subject to a separate partner agreement. Conversagas reserves the right to modify or terminate partner arrangements at any time in accordance with the terms of that agreement.
We aim to keep Conversagas available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible.
We reserve the right to update platform content — including stories, quizzes, grammar, and audio — at any time to improve quality and accuracy.
You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms, with notice where reasonable.
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases. We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions.
The Conversagas service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any content will be accurate or reliable.
We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes. Your progress depends on your own effort, consistency, and engagement with the platform. Nothing on Conversagas constitutes professional language instruction or certification.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Conversagas, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service, regardless of the theory of liability.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or relating to the service shall not exceed the amounts you have paid to Conversagas in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty pounds sterling (£50), whichever is greater.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold Conversagas harmless from and against all damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these terms, any activity in which you engage on or through the service, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
Conversagas has no liability to you, nor any obligation to provide a refund, in connection with service outages or failures caused by the actions of government authorities, internet service providers, third-party services, or events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, labour disputes, or power failures.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Conversagas regarding your use of the service, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of Conversagas after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
